This course deals with the study of the fundamentals of cells, tissues and
organs with emphasis on microscopic structure, characteristics and
functions.
The course enables students to perform routine and special bacteriologic techniques important in diagnosing and prevention of disease with strict adherence to principles of safety and quality assurance.
The course deals with the study of morphologic and biologic characteristics of fungal and viral agents of diseases. It also includes the study of laboratory diagnostic method; Mode of transmission, epidemiology, pathology, prevention and control of diseases caused by viruses and fungi.
This course allows pre-service English teachers to apply the theories, principles, methods, and techniques in teaching and assessing literature. It aims to provide them with various strategies which will deepen learners’ understanding of literature and will respond to their social, cultural, linguistic, and gender backgrounds. They are expected to design developmentally-sequenced lesson plans and to provide a range of assessment strategies to address learners’ needs and to communicate progress and achievement in learning literature.
