This course provides an overview of human resource management field. It also reviews significant organizational theories and studies the role of the human resource professionals as a strategic partner in managing today’s organizations. Key functions such as recruitment, selection, development, appraisal, retention, compensation, and labor management relations are examined. Implications of employment law and employee rights are assessed and current issues and trends in human resource management such as challenges for human resource management and global business strategy are analyzed.

This is a basic course in accounting for Entrepreneurship students.
