This course introduces BTVTED students to basic concepts, theories, and principles of the different specializations they may take in their course. Specifically, this course will give an overview of Technical Drafting, Illustration, and 2D Animation. It also establishes the basics of Medical Transcription, Digital Media Production, and Web Application. In particular, for BTVTED, this course will provide students with adequate understanding and skills in the use of computers and internet technology. It will cover the basic computer concepts and uses of information and communication technology. Moreover, it deals with the development of basic skills, techniques, and appreciation of the Microsoft Windows operating system, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and the internet for education.

This course introduces BTLED students to the foundational concepts of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and the ethical considerations surrounding its use. It equips learners with essential knowledge and skills in computer fundamentals, ICT tools, computer safety, and emerging technologies relevant to the TLE context. Emphasis is placed on the practical application of ICT in educational and vocational settings, the legal and ethical responsibilities of ICT users, and fostering digital citizenship. Students will also explore contemporary issues in ICT, including social responsibility, data privacy, and environmental sustainability, with a strong focus on the role of ICT in education, livelihood, and community development.

This course explains how information technology has shaped our way of life in the modern era. Describe the various computer-related discoveries and innovations that have shaped information technology as we know it today.

This course will introduce students to the development of computers and information technology. They must be able to articulate the advantages and disadvantages of living in the IT Era, become familiar with the latest trends and cutting-edge technologies, and see the potential direction of information technology.

The course covers the general features of basic photography, modified photo imaging, and editing from its basic elements to real-world applications. This course will orient the students on the many uses of photo imaging and editing programs from hobbyists to professionals in the fields of graphic design, web design, photography, architecture, fine arts, forensics, medicine, law, and other related fields.
